Adding to the frustration, most of the trash picked up on Clean Up Day could have been recycled and not sent to a landfill

Trash impacts the wetlands too

Many pieces of trash pollute the wetlands and were too far from the shore to be collected, unlike this bottle which was collected

Litter adds to the problem at the Presto Sygan AMD discharge site. The discharge is being investigated for remediation.

Let's work together to provide native wildlife, such as this Canadian Goose, with a better place to raise it's young
