The Fishing Run Stream Sealing Project

This  project continues our efforts to reduce Abandoned Mine Drainage from entering Millers Run and is funded through the Pa. Department of Environmental Protection's Growing Greener Program at a cost of $487,853.00.

Fish Habitat Structures

 A $5000.00 joint project with the South Fayette Township Department of Public Works, funded by the Allegheny County Conservation District's
Clean Water Fund.

This project has benefits beyond fish habitats.   More details to come in the fall of 2010.

Watersheds Visual Assessment

The SFCG has been awarded $14,537.00 to fund this project

The money, awarded through the Pa. Department of Environmental Protection's Growing Greener Program, will allow the SFCG  to conduct a visual assessment of the Millers Run, Robinson Run and Coal Run watersheds within South Fayette Township.
